Overview
Type

Introduction

Calcined gypsum (CaSo4 1/2 H2O) evaporating crystallized water heated about 200℃ as raw material, mix with water adding admixtures, put between strong board papers, then reduce to gypsum in stable status to a plate form.
Byucksan supplies World Class FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) gypsum board through KCC Gypsum Board.

Features

Fire Safety
Originally, gypsum does not burn
from fire, water particle combined
chemically to gypsum crystal blocks
fire expansion and temperature increase
when exposed to fire, and prevent
combustion expansion to other structure
nearby.
Has both fireproof and flame retardant
functions required from the Construction
law, and fireproof structure of bearing

Processability
Easy construction of STUD method,
gypsum bond method, partition system,
ceiling system with lower importance and
easy to cut compared to other construction
materials, available to have diverse
decoration i.e. wallpaper, paint, etc. and to
realize diverse decorations repetitively during
building life. Available to complete without
construction delay during winter as curing is
unnecessary unlike wet construction method
(masonry, concrete, etc.)
Eco-friendliness
Gypsum board is an eco-friendly
product using the reusable FGD
(Flue Gas Desulfurization), and
acquired eco-friendly product
certificate with reasons of recycling
valid resources, reducing harmful
materials, verifying insulation/sound
absorption as wall and ceiling finishing.
Lightness
Much lighter than brick wall, concrete
wall, ALC, light concrete panel and
others of the same thickness.
Therefore, available to reduce
transportation expenses, and slab
thickness or pillar/crossbeam sizes.
Sound Insulation
Usable to party wall between houses,
wall requiring noise prevention for
refreshing internal environment with
excellent sound insulation and shock
sound absorption compared to
its weight or volume. Also, satisfies
the domestic sound insulation
regulations.

Excellent durability for finishing of
double layer fireproof gypsum board.

General Gypsum Board

Fire Resistance

Fire resistant gypsum board is a strong gypsum board with excellent fire resistance, and applied to fireproof structure of various buildings which requires fireproof function. Waterproof Gypsum Board

Water resistance had been improved by waterproof treatment.
Waterproof gypsum board is a gypsum board which maintains high strength and waterproof function from high humidity area, and show excellent water resistance by applying to part where waterproof treatment is difficult. It is available to construct with light dry construction method to various buildings, and more efficient if mixed with general gypsum board.

Wall of highly humid bathroom, kitchen, restroom, etc., and wall of ceramic tile
Long-term humid construction area i.e. basement, backer board for factory ceiling and interior finishing

Fire/Waterproof Gypsum Board

Enhance efficiency by adding waterproof function tofireproof.
Fire/Waterproof gypsum board is a multi-functional product with both fireproof and waterproof functions. It is a new concept gypsum board with many advantages from many ways; constructing fireproof gypsum board to place exposed to humidity i.e. bathroom, kitchen, dressing room, etc., economic feasibility, space feasibility, construction efficiency and others than the current method which additionally attaches waterproof gypsum board to fireproof wall.

Anti-Bacterial Gypsum Board

Safe with non-toxic anti-bacterial fluid.
Anti-bacterial gypsum board has both safety and sanitation by using non-toxic anti-bacterial fluid, and suppresses mold infestation and increase. Necessary to apply anti-bacterial paint (water repellent) or have vinyl protection cover to maintain high function of gypsum board, and excellent in mold prevention when use anti-bacterial gypsum board together.

Application

Part considered to have mold with high temperature and humid site conditions
Place where requires clean and sanitary space
Part considered to have dew condensation due to temperature difference from outside

Cause of mold infestation

Humidity, mold spores, nutriment are compulsory for mold infestation.
As artificial removal of mold spores finely distributed in air and nutriment included in construction material is impossible, removal of humidity via ventilation is the most effective method.
